The Jefferson Softball travel program was established to provide a higher level of play and competition for those girls who are ready for the next level. Tryout dates will be announced and held in the summer.
Travel teams play an aggressive schedule which begins in August and can go until July. Travel teams will have Indoor and Outdoor Training, play in a Fall Travel League, a Spring Travel League and will also participate in Tournaments.
Registration Fees for travel teams are determined based on the cost of indoor training, league fees, tournament fees, uniforms, insurance, equipment, umpires, etc. This cost is divided by the number of the girls on the team. We currently do not offer scholarships at this level.
Travel teams can be fielded at the 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U age levels.
In the Fall and Spring, outdoor practices are held at fields in Jefferson Township. In the winter, indoor training will be on Sundays starting in January at Kozak Sports Center in Randolph, NJ. There may be additional indoor/outdoor training sessions as well.
If anyone is interested in Coaching a travel team, a resume must be submitted to Jefferson Softball no later than Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 to be considered.

Players should wear proper softball attire and should bring their own equipment (i.e. bat, glove and helmet).
*IMPORTANT* No branding of Jefferson Softball uniforms, All Star or any other club/travel softball program may be worn during the tryout (i.e. Shirts & Hats). Equipment bags and helmets are okay.
